Welcome, Üdvözöljük, Willkommen, Bienvenue, ようこそ,
Hello! I'm Ayla, a 2nd year Computer Science student at ELTE, who is passionate about web development, data analytics, and digital art. I thrive on building creative, beautiful, and functional solutions.
My coding knowledge includes: HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, Java, SQL, C#, Python, React.js.
My general technical knowledge includes: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) , PowerBI.
I have been working with web developement the longest. However, career-wise, I'm interested in pursuing the Data field. Currently I'm a PIM intern at Nilfisk in Budapest, where I work primarily with Excel, PowerBI, and PIM Systems. Previously I have worked at Optima Group in Baku as a Data Intern, where I utilized Python to automate data cleaning, Oracle SQL for data retrieving and Excel for data cleanup.
Something that is tough for me to love is taking on unknown things, but these days I try to put myself in positions where I am not so confident in order to gain more practical knowledge.
I chose this path because Computer Science is a fresh field that keeps evolving, and will always give me something new to learn for years ahead :)
some projects which are hosted on a website are showcased as such, their source codes can be accessed through my github...
This project was done in Apache NetBeans for Programming Technology class. The goal is to guide the capybara through the forest to gather baskets and avoid crocodiles. It features 10 randomly generated levels and 3 base player health. When the game ends, the player has the option to write their name and save their score in the database (JDBC), however only top 10 scores are displayed (based on speed & difficulty achieved within a round).
This project is a Web based Dress-up game. I drew all the assets using Procreate and utilized the JavaScript and CSS together to allow the clothes to be layered and their visibility to be toggled on top of a base body. It is hosted through GitHub Pages and is currently an ongoing project as I intend to add more clothing designs and “game” functionality.
This project is a web based desktop app currently only available for Mac. It includes a simple pomodoro and todo list where the user can time their studies, write down their tasks, view the current date and time. It is my first project to be a desktop app! Soon, it will be available for download through github, for now it is showcased as a website which is also fully functional.
This project is a Reddit post + comment Sentiment Analysis Dashboard visualizer. It is written with python, and utilizes mutliple libraries in order to achieve the best result. With the Reddit API (specifically praw) and MySQL Workbench I created a connection to fetch and store a users data by username, specifically their post titels and comments with the links and numbers filtered out for more precise analysis. I used mathplotlib and wordcloud to display the information, and streamlit to run the app. Unfortunately it only works locally.
This game was made in my Python elective class as an assignment. It is a very simple picture matching game, where the objective is to match 3 seaweeds and 3 rice bowls to make an Onigiri dish. I have drawn all the assets using Procreate. Currently, I am adding more complexity to the game as I want to expand this assignment into a personal project to learn Python and Pygame in better depth.
This simple game was made as a Valentines day gift to my boyfriend. It is just a small one day project through which I wanted to showcase that coding and creating can be fun and my coursework knowledge can be utilized for personal stuff/fun!
This website was made as an assignment during the Web Developement course where we learned the basics of Web design and accessibility. It is one of my first creatively free projects that sparked my interest in front-end developement. It showcases my love for Philosophy as a hobby :). Simple, but meaningful.
This project was an assignment from my OOP class where I applied the singleton pattern. The project works through the terminal and uses a text file reader and simulates an environment with plants and based on randomly generated conditions and determines which species go extinct and which stay alive. It also implements unit testing.
photography (using a digital camera ~ sony cybershot DCS-S730)
digital art (using an ipad 9gen & procreate)
More to be added later!
